In 2019, Russian retailer X5 Retail Group partnered with the volunteer organization "LizaAlert." They introduced the "Safety Island" initiative in stores across the country, marked with an orange geolocation circle. Lost individuals can seek help from store staff or wait in this designated area. Since the project's launch, 3,831 people, including 228 children, have been assisted.
